November 30 - Finish Progressive Presidents

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see you beautiful people!  Happy Friday!  Today in class we will finish researching and comparing the three progressive presidents, Teddy Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and Woodrow Wilson.  Once we finish the comparative portion of the graphic organizer we will be writing an argumentative paragraph.  Time to break out those writing skills!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

November 29 - Progressive Presidents Pt 1

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see you beautiful people!  I hope that everyone is doing well!  Today in class we will be researching and comparing the three progressive presidents, Teddy Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and Woodrow Wilson.  We will take a look at each president's administration and then we will determine which of the three we believe is MOST progressive.  This will involve both some research as well as some argumentative writing skills.  I hope you enjoy!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

November 6-9 - Introduce Gilded Age Newspaper Project

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see all you beautiful people!  Today in class we will be doing a variety of activities to set up and prepare to work on our Gilded Age Newspaper Project.  That means that we will be doing some discussions to examine society during Gilded Age American History and we will also be doing some activities to research and prepare a fictional historical persona that will be writing newspaper articles exhibiting bias appropriate to the time.  This is a pretty beefy project and will involve multiple components that will be brought together in a beautiful project.  I am very excited to start this and see what you all can do!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.
