Welcome and great to see you all! Today in class we will be taking a look at the epic construction of the transcontinental railroad. This is one of the most important events of the late 19th century. It brought the U.S. together in a way never before dreamed of. We will take a look at how and why they got it done. I am excited work with you all today!
