October 25 - Finish Transcontinental Railroad

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see you beautiful people!  Today in class we will be finishing the Transcontinental Railroad Lecture and Activity, and then we will be discussing the immigration of the Chinese and how they assisted in building the railroad.  I hope that you are having fun and learning new things!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

1. Understand who came to the U.S. at the end of the 1800's and why they came.  What was their experience like when they arrived?
