September 21 - Finish Causes of Civil War and Mapping Westward Expansion

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome back and happy Friday!  Today in class we will have time to finish two assignments.  The first one that needs to get finished and turned in is the Mapping Westward Expansion Packet.  You need to make sure that is turned in before you leave today!  Also you need to finish and turn in the Events Leading to the Civil War Graphic Organizer.  You will have time to finish both so make sure you get them done and turned in!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:

1. Analyze the westward expansion of the U.S. by mapping each major expansion as it happens and answering critical thinking questions
2. Analyze the events that lead to the Civil War and track the changing perceptions of the North and South
